A Message from the President

My name is Laura Ashley Gonzalez, and it is truly an honor to serve as President of the Littlerock Rural Chamber of Commerce. Littlerock is a special place. It has always been shaped by people who care deeply about their neighbors, their land, and the future they are building together. From small family businesses and growers to artists, makers, and service providers, this community has never waited for opportunity to arrive. We create it. The Chamber exists to support that spirit. We are here to bring people together, to lift up local businesses, and to help strengthen the connections that make Littlerock feel like home. Whether you run a storefront, work from your home, grow food, teach skills, or provide services, your work matters. Every local business adds to the heartbeat of this town. I believe deeply in cooperation over competition, in showing up for one another, and in keeping our local economy personal and connected. The Chamber is simply a gathering place for that energy. A space where ideas are shared, relationships grow, and our community continues to thrive. Thank you for being part of Littlerock. Thank you for supporting local. And thank you for helping shape what comes next. I look forward to meeting you, working alongside you, and building a strong future together.

Littlerock is a small rural community in northeastern Los Angeles County, nestled between Palmdale, Pearblossom, Sun Village, and the San Gabriel Mountains. Named after the Little Rock Wash that runs through the area, Littlerock earned its place in California history as “The Fruit Basket of the Antelope Valley,” once lined with orchards of almonds, apples, peaches, and pears. Agriculture shaped the town’s early identity, with packing houses and roadside stands supporting generations of hardworking families who built a life from the land.

Today, Littlerock remains a close knit community rooted in resilience, cooperation, and local pride. While small in size, it sits within the larger Antelope Valley region and continues to grow through the strength of its residents, small businesses, and creative spirit. Littlerock is not defined by population numbers or borders, but by the people who live here, work here, and care deeply about preserving its rural character while building a strong future together.
